I absolutely love the way you think! So dang cool to find a kindred spirit on Medium. It doesn’t happen often.

I am slightly more optimistic than you are. It feels to me as though the stars are aligning for a massive awakening, despite the relentless influence of social media and other institutions controlled by the oligarchy. Humanity may not be ready for change, but it’s coming, anyway. The only question is how much and how long we resist. The longer and harder we push back, the more painful the awakening will be.

I’m hopeful that with Trump out of the way Americans will finally run out of excuses for our worsening condition. Having Biden/Harris at the helm may force many out of denial and leave them no choice but to address deeper, systemic issues and their root causes.

Of course, if Medium is any indication we still have along way to go. The continued obsession with Trump on this platform — with many still hanging on every Tweet and rumors of his resurgence — is a troubling sign that many will try to focus on shiny objects and easy targets as long as they possibly can.
