I think if we actually had free market capitalism, the landscape would be challenging but not nearly this dire. The problem is that our economy is completely manipulated by oligarchs under the guise of a “free market.” It’s socialism for the rich and “free market capitalism” for everyone else. It’s the worst of both worlds. It’s gaslighting on an epic scale.
