If memory serves, weren’t Assange/Wikileaks vilified two and a half years ago for releasing the Podesta emails and the treasure trove of other DNC chicanery that thwarted Hillary Clinton’s campaign and paved the way for Trump? Wasn’t Assange supposed to be a Russian stooge who interfered with US elections? Flash forward two and a half years, and now Trump and Assange/WikiLeaks are mortal enemies? And Assange has become a symbol of independent journalism and freedom of speech?

I swear, I can’t keep up with the shifting narratives in the news-space today. Villains become heroes, and heroes become villains. Am I the only one noticing this?
