No, you never know. But friends of mine who are former Dems (now independent) have sent me a few of his monologues over the past 12 mos or so, and I have to say, a lot —certainly not all —of what he’s saying makes sense to people in the “center” who don’t understand the attacks on free speech and are freaking out that crime in blue cities is on steroids, and politicians seem to be enabling it, not aggressively tackling it.

Both sides are clearly manipulating public opinion for their purposes, but my point is that if the Left wants to lure people back to its camp, it needs to change tactics. The course it’s currently on is clearly not attracting people and is even losing them.
