Thank you for your response, Jefe!
I asked for evidence of sociopathy because I gathered it was the reason you doubt Musk's commitment to free speech. I can easily provide evidence that Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Jeffrey Dahmer were sociopaths. I was hoping you would do the same for Musk.

However, it appears you're operating more on a hunch -- and no, you wouldn't be the first one to do this. I'm just extremely careful about assigning such inflammatory labels these days without evidence to back it up. Much like calling someone "racist," I think it can be dangerous if not substantiated because it alienates and doesn't advance open and productive discourse.
Yes, Musk was born rich, as was Trump, Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates, and a host of other people in the .01%. Quite honestly, I'm wary of anyone with this much money. But I find it puzzling that some billionaires are considered "bad" while others are considered "good." There was no outcry when Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post or when Zuckerberg added Instagram and WhatsApp to his cart (a consolidation that did VERY little to advance free speech in social media). There was no teeth gnashing when Bloomberg used hundreds of millions to insert himself into the primaries midway. No one seems troubled that Bill Gates has a hefty stake in vaccine companies and has appointed himself as a scion on public health and pandemic policy, or that he's buying huge tracts of vital farm land. My point is that I would just like to see more consistency when judging billionaires. If we're willing to see Gates and Bloomberg through a nuanced lens, perhaps we should attempt to do the same with Musk?

I have no idea why they're celebrating on Fox because I don't watch Fox. But even a broken clock is right twice a day ;-)

As for my "version" of free speech: I simply want the right to post what I want without having to worry about whether I've offended someone (because free speech doesn't require us to avoid doing that) or I've run afoul of the "unofficial arbiters" who shamelessly promote the Establishment narrative. I want to live in an America where my opinions are not shot down for some bullshit reason -- the America I lived in a decade ago. I'l have to wait and see whether Musk brings us closer to that America. If he does, I'll be happy; if he doesn't, I'll continue to be disappointed in what my country has become.

Lastly, as for authentication: I think we're fooling ourselves if we think there's any measure of anonymity online at this point. That shipped sailed a LONG time ago, my friend (even the "decentralized" cyrpotocurrency that rebels claim provides anonymity is a sham). EVERY post and transaction can be traced to their source now, and its been this way for years.

Get to know Operation PRISM. It's ostensibly used to track "foreign" targets, but common sense tells us this technology allows domestic users to be tracked, as well. This is a trap our government (the GOP and Dems) and Big Tech titans laid for us more than a decade ago, and we all stepped into it blindly:
