Thank you very much for your thoughts, Robert. I hadn’t taken note of the irony you pointed out, but I think you’re spot-on. It’s amazes me how easily manipulated people can be when manipulators appeal to base emotions: hatred, superiority, resentment. I’m convinced that the people manipulating us know us much better than we know ourselves. I would love to read the New Republic article. Do you have a link, by chance?
