Thanks so much for the feedback, Valerie. I suspect many more have been duped by the promise of the Dream and feel shame for not achieving what we are told is attainable if we only work hard enough. I think more of us need to step forward and tell our story. Being honest with ourselves is the only way to shatter the illusion and meaningfully change a system that’s slowly killing us all. I only wish I’d had the courage and resourcefulness to unplug from the madness earlier.
