True, it’s likely that a very vocal but powerful plurality of Democrats is driving this nonsensical narrative. And I do know quite a few of the Democrats of the type you describe. But these level-headed liberals need to speak up and assert themselves, because right now the perception is that their party is woefully out of touch.
