Yes, I think that they are looking to get at least one more round of serious wealth extraction before we move into another, much more devastating chapter. I’m sure you’ve heard about this:
That said, I question how much longer than can keep this game up. At a certain point, even the most obtuse among us are going to realize they’re merely veal for elite consumption. At a certain point, the misery index will compel a response, and it will likely be violent.
I think elites know this and that they are essentially in a race against time. I think this is why we’ve seen so many heavy-handed incursions of civil liberties in recent years. By the time a critical mass “wakes up,” they want to have the means to effortlessly control our response.
